Black Adam: First Images Of The Rock As Teth-Adam Revealed!

Teth-Adam

The wait is almost here! The first behind the scenes images of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as Teth-Adam/Black Adam have dropped! DCU Source on Twitter dropped the photos, and god! They’re so good! Loving the black suit too! It looks very similar to Zachary Levi’s Shazam suit but has fewer details.

One example is it doesn’t have a glowing lightning bolt. There is also no cape. If you take a look at The Rock himself, he doesn’t have the pointed ears or the black hair. Both are large parts of the appearance of the character in the comics. However, it appears that Johnson’s iteration of Teth-Adam is human in a sense.

It doesn’t look entirely black, and it appears that the lightning bolt is dirty as if to say that Teth-Adam is corrupted by the power he either wants or has. The suit might start as “clean”, but as the film progresses, it might start to become edgy, as we see in the images.

As to what Teth-Adam is doing in the images, it’s hard to tell. Though, if we had to guess, we’d say he’s come up against the Justice Society and is told to stop doing whatever it is he’s doing. We’re probably wrong, but it’s fun to speculate. We’re unfamiliar with the character on a larger level, so this film will be our look inside who he is.

What we’ve noticed, is the lighting bolt is different in both images. In one, it’s almost entirely black while the other has a lot of colour. This could be part of the same sequence, or it could be from two different parts of the film. When the movie comes out, we’ll have a clearer picture of what’s going on. It will be an incredible film to watch and it’sThe Rock. He’s always awesome.
