Nothing says creepier than Meghan’s Markle’s piercing stare. She’s given it to Harry multiple times over the years, and it did not look adoring. The looks of love and admiration Prince William and Catherine toss each other are genuine. However, not once has Harry ever looked at Meghan in the same way. We’re going to examine some of these and, at times, compare some of the images with the Cambridges. We’ll also go over the stare she has often given to Catherine behind her back. A big shoutout to our dear friend, Sue Smith, for inspiring this post.
The Balcony Stare
The intensity of Meghan’s stare during the 2018 Trooping the Colour is quite creepy. This is one of the first times we got to see this gaze from her in the public domain. Also, we’ve put it side-by-side with a still from William and Catherine’s 10th wedding anniversary video.
See how Catherine is giving William a gentle, loving look? She’s not acting here and nothing forced. That shows how much she genuinely loves him. Also, he is looking at her, while Harry isn’t glancing in Meghan’s direction.
The Trooping the Colour was only a few weeks after the May 19 2018 wedding. This should’ve been a time for Harry to be gushing over his newlywed status. However, for him to already be ignoring Meghan in such a public space, tells us that he either was used to being love-bombed, or he just wasn’t paying attention.
The “I Want Your Life” Stare
This next image is from the 2019 Trooping the Colour where Meghan and Harry were sharing a carriage with Catherine and probably William. We cannot remember from memory. So, the story here is that Meghan was supposed to be on maternity leave as Archie had been born only a few weeks earlier. Apparently, she announced she had to be there at the last minute.
As for the death stare at Catherine, it’s clear at how much Meghan hates her because she has the life she wanted; as in being married to William. The Duke of Cambridge would see through Meghan’s act in a nanosecond if she tried to crack onto him while still married to Harry.
“I Want So Bad To Be Your Queen.”
Image three is from Princess Eugenie’s wedding. As you can see, William is paying Meghan no attention as she is standing behind him. She has the look of how much she would rather be married to the future King of England than his sixth-in-line younger brother. For her, it is all about power and what status can give her. The former actress knew marrying into the British Royal Family would make her an overnight sensation. It did, but the fanfare fell away very quickly when her self-absorbed behaviour became apparent.
“I’m Pretending To Like You”
This photo was taken at the tennis where Meghan attempted to play nice with Catherine. However, it is apparent by this photo that her mask slipped just long enough for a photo to be taken. She never intended to be friends with Kate. She sees her as an obstacle.
If Meghan wasn’t such a narcissist who sees every other woman in Harry’s life as a threat, she and Catherine could’ve become friends. They could’ve joined forces on projects and raised awareness to issues close to their hearts together. However, Markle wanted to dismantle the monarchy and resculpt it in her image. She never cared about the historic value it holds.
The “I’m The Victim So You Better Believe Me” Stare
During the Oprah interview, Meghan needed to maintain her cover of victimhood to the point that Oprah would believe her. This is why she had this intense hard stare on her face that made the former talk show host believe she was telling the truth. The same look came from the Diana Panorama interview in 1996.
Oprah fell for the ploy hook, line, and sinker. Remember that gasp of “What?!” when Meghan claimed that people questioned the colour of Archie’s skin? Markle knew from the beginning that this was how Winfrey was going to react, despite saying “I wasn’t planning on saying anything shocking.” Oh, wait. That isn’t offensive. John English, a black former British footballer who is also an anti-racism campaigner has said that this is not racist. He has personal experience as he has biracial children with his wife who is caucasian.
“Just As We Rehearsed”
Going back to Meghan and her terrifying stare at Harry, this next one is from the Spotify ad during the pandemic. While the stare isn’t as intense here, you can tell that Meghan is looking at her husband like if he screws up what they rehearsed, he will be in a world of trouble. After all, they had a deal that they needed to “fulfil.” We all know how that turned out and they’re in trouble with the streaming giant for not producing content, like they promised.
“Just Listen To Me, And You’ll Be Free Of Your Awful Family”
Now, this is one is a favourite as it tells us so much. Meghan’s stare worked on Harry basically from the moment they started dating. This photo was a series of shots taken from Tom Inskip’s wedding. The story goes that Markle wasn’t supposed to be there as she and Harry had allegedly broken up. We have no idea how true this is.
However, Meghan did everything she could to get Harry back including forcefully kissing him in front of the paparazzi. If you look at the photo a bit closer, Markle is clinging to Harry as she does now. There are other photos as well from this same event where he looks like he’s on the verge of screaming at her. Actually, that brings us to our next photo.
“But You Want Me.”
So, this next photo is also from Tom Inskip’s wedding. As you can see, Meghan does not look happy and Harry is trying to control himself as he has his hands clenched like he wants to hit something. This would’ve been after the image above where she has her hands all over him. As we stated above, there are a large number of images from the same event. We won’t go over all of them as it would take too long.
Meghan’s pout here implies she is doing everything in her power to get him back the kicked puppy sad look is an ideal way to get back into his good graces and his bed. when you examine a person long enough, you learn how they operate.
Markle is no different. If you listen to her speak and how she uses her stare technique, you’ll find that it’s a pattern. Harry is just too dense to realise that the woman he married is only interested in furthering herself. Her acting career was drying up so she had to think fast.
By roping in a rich man, specifically a dimwitted prince, she would be set for life if he proposed. We’ve spoken before about how Meghan might’ve tried to use Harry to get to William, but realised her plan wasn’t going to work in the way she wanted.
She saw how William adored his wife and wasn’t going to leave her for her, she realised had to settle for second best.
“Yes, He’s Saying What I’ve Written For Him” Stare
This next stare isn’t as intense as some of the other ones, but you can see that the cogs in her mind are turning. For Meghan, her control over Harry with just her eyes is ironclad. He does exactly what she wants without even questioning. Now, this photo is from when they were working royals and most of their engagements were done together.
It’s clear that Meghan already had the stare down pat by the time this photo was taken. As long as Harry did as she wanted, there were no complaints.
“No One Asked Me If I Was Okay, When I’m Actually Fine”
To end this post, we wanted to go over this one. There are so many others we could’ve used, but this one shows Meghan really using her acting skills here. Now, this wasn’t done on Harry but on Tom Bradby, a friend of the former prince who was also once friends with William.
This was in South Africa when Meghan claimed “no one had asked if she was okay” after her pregnancy with Archie. Now, the doe eyes is what turned us off Meghan and Harry because we knew that the royals supported their own.
Harry went to therapy before he met Meghan on the insistence of William. Also, Princess Margaret spoke to someone about her own issues and this is before mental illness was widely spoken about.
Now, this victim narrative was put into question by photos of Meghan prior to her chat with Bradby. One of them is this one.
Anyone who smiles the way she does, does NOT have issues. Sorry, but it’s our opinion.
