Must The Harry And Meghan Debate In The US Depend On What Political Party You’re Affiliated With?

politicial

The US LOVES its politics but should their political preferences depend on whether they like Harry and Meghan?

We all know that Meghan Markle’s political preference is the democratic party. That has never been a secret. She also believes she will win a presidential election and become the leader of the free world, which according to her mind, is better than the endless riches of being a princess. Good luck with that, as you cannot take criticism. But, should the American public rely on their preferred political party to dictate whether they side with the Sussexes?

From the lies that Meghan told about not knowing anything about her “racist” in-laws – a claim that was debunked before this statement was even made at her wedding – to her politically charged support for President Biden during the 2020 Presidential race, it’s obvious where most sit on the subject.

Megyn Kelly, an American journalist and commentator and apparently, “royal expert” is one of the Sussexes’ most vocal critics in the US. She has stated – according to GBNews – that the democratic party is the “pro-woke” crowd.

What does it matter, though? There are plenty of people who support the Democrats who don’t like the Sussexes either. We did a poll on Twitter where many of the participants were Republicans, but Democrats and people who supported other American political parties voted too.

Australia Doesn’t Associate Politics With Harry And Meghan And Pro-Sussex Americans Don’t Get It

In Australia, we don’t associate our political parties with Harry and Meghan. Now, before all the Sugars start breathing down our necks and saying that we have no business in criticising them, we actually do have every right. Australia is a Commonwealth country. We follow the Queen and while there are some who want a Republic, the monarchy is here to stay.

It is the pro-woke Americans who support Harry and Meghan who have no right to criticise. Before Markle married royalty, they had no interest in the royal family.

The Pro-Sussex Americans don’t understand what it means to be part of a centuries-old institution.

What’s more, the American Presidency has been around a few hundred years beginning with George Washington in 1789.

The British Royal Family has been around 700 years longer. However, the woke don’t care. All they think about is how Meghan and Harry are victims of racism.

In conclusion, as an Australian, politics doesn’t factor into who sides with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. All that we care is the truth, and it hurts those who don’t want to hear it.
