Nuclear weapons should never be used to level the playing field – Vladimir Putin is determined to get what he wants. However, he chooses to play dirty. The Guardian reports that the dictator has placed those involved with Nuclear Warfare on high alert. This does not look good for anyone, especially those in Ukraine who are his targets.
While Putin has put out the threat of nuclear weapons, he hasn’t thought it through and what could happen if the chemicals could potentially do to people. If he unleashes these, there could be some destructive consequences. They wouldn’t just affect the Ukrainians, but the Russian people too.
Nuclear Weapons Equal Health Risk
Nuclear material could cause long-lasting effects. Russians, Ukrainians, and other countries in Europe would be affected by the chemicals. According to Lavender Baj of Junkee, only nine countries in the entire world have Nuclear weapons:
- US
- UK
- Russia
- China
- France
- Pakistan
- India
- Israel
- North Korea
The after-effects of the weapons could damage people’s health, including that of Putin and his followers. Moreover, he has not stopped to consider any of this. Though, it is not surprising given how Russia is a Communist-run country. The same applies to North Korea.
Anyway, Putin’s need to control every nation around Russia shows him as a power-hungry man child throwing a tantrum. We applaud the Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, for standing his ground. He doesn’t want his country under the thumb of a tyrant and bullies like Putin.
The world has fallen in love with Ukraine’s president because he cares about his people. He is also a former actor and comedian who did the Ukrainian voice dub for Paddington in the first Paddington movie. Zelenskyy isn’t going to run from the danger to save himself. He is standing firm and will not back down. He is a true leader who values others.
