Jennifer Lopez And Ben Affleck To Divorce After Two Years

Ben Affleck Jennifer Lopez

Entertainment Weekly announces Jenny from The Block and her filmmaker/actor husband are divorcing. We all knew this was coming. Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are going their separate ways after two years of marriage. The couple, who were engaged in the early 2000s, got back together sometime after the Fargo actor’s divorce from his Daredevil costar, Jennifer Garner.

JLo and Ben got back together and were soon engaged and married within a short space of time. We they reconciled, it was quite baffling as it had been 20 years and things had drastically changed for both of them.

The Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck marriage has been plagued with drama where the former Batman actor constantly looked miserable. As per speculation from the Economic Times, the filmmaker is believed to lean on his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner for support. It makes sense since they share three children; Violet, Fin, and Samuel.

Also, Jen Garner has always had a positive relationship with her ex-husband. Ben Affleck has been married twice, while Jennifer Lopez, has had four husbands with her longest marriage being with fellow singer Marc Antony with whom she has twins, Emme and Max.

Time Will Tell How Jennifer Lopez And Ben Affleck’s Split Will Affect Their Children

Time will tell how the kids will be affected by this split. Violet allegedly became close with her now former stepmother and Fin and Emme allegedly became quite close too. Just because their parents have split, doesn’t mean they can’t still be friendly.

As for Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez, perhaps the split is for the best as the media has reported that the pair had been fighting for a while. The most famous example was the 2023 Grammys when they were caught on camera during Trevor Noah’s skit as shared by Entertainment Tonight on their YouTube page.
