It’s FINALLY Launch Day! Welcome To The Publishing Game, Refinery29 Australia!

Refinery29

Refinery29 is finally Down Under.

The world’s most successful women+ brand is finally in Australia! Refinery29 Australia has made its debut, and we’re thrilled to have the publication Down Under. The US edition began in 2005. in the years since, the brand has branched over into the UKGermanyFrance, and Canada. Now, we’re welcoming the Australian edition.

What makes the Refinery29 experience unique is it embraces every type of person on the planet. Moreover, their Instagram takeovers include individuals from all walks of life. They’ve had people with disabilities and non-binary individuals from all nationalities. We can also not ignore all able-body people from numerous backgrounds and sexual orientations.

According to MediaWeek, Refinery29 Australia will join forces with Getty Images. Their goal is to spotlight the underrepresented communities within Australia. The incentive is a worthwhile one, as many feel they do not have a stage to stand on. Moreover, this is a great way to launch a site in a country drowning in white privilege. The larger communities all share the same message. But what about the underdogs who have every right to be heard?

The launch team are a brilliant bunch of women with a vast array of experiences. They will provide a unique and diverse outlook on topics within the women+ atmosphere that get overlooked. It’s about time an all-female publication stole the spotlight.

Welcome, Ladies!

We’re so happy that you exist. It’s time for Australia to see what female journalists can do when they put their minds to it. We 100% stand behind you in solidarity!
