The Bold And The Beautiful: Finn’s Parents Come Into The Show

Finnegan

There’s going to be more of the Finnegan family coming to Los Angeles…

In scenes coming next week, Steffy and Finn will welcome a new little Finnegan into the world. According to @hopebethspencer on Instagram, the fictional couple’s son will enter the story on July 1st in America which means July 2nd in Australia for anyone who watched The Bold and the Beautiful fast-tracked on Ten Play. However, the baby isn’t the only member of the hot doc’s family we’re going to be meeting soon.

Entertainment Weekly has revealed that Finn’s parents, Jack and Li will be joining the show to meet their new little grandson.

Before this announcement, we’ve never been told anything about Finn’s family outside of Steffy’s engagement ring being from his mother. When this was said, we naturally assumed that his mother was dead as he did say he’d had the piece of jewellery a while.

There was also that maternity storyline rumour going around where it was said that Finn’s mother would be someone we know. Whether or not Li will be his biological mother, stepmother or adoptive mother is anyone’s guess. There are so many ways this story could go and we’re all for it. Also, what was surprising was the actor playing Jack Finnegan.

Ted King might not be a name familiar to many but it was to us. He portrayed Andy, the love interest to Shannen Doherty’s Pure Halliwell in the original Charmed. King was only in Season 1 when he was credited as T.W. King. It’s going to be interesting to see what Finn’s backstory is and why he hasn’t mentioned his parents until now. Also, does he have a dark past like fans suspect he does? We’ll just have to wait and find out.

Jack’s first appearance will be in late July while Li pop up in early August.
