7 Jedi You Do NOT Want To Cross!

deadly Jedi

Deadly Jedi equal carnage – The galaxy sees the Jedi in a particular light, but there are those that, during their respected periods, were something to be feared. While not necessarily a bad thing, it could easily be seen as a negative if not interpreted correctly.

In this post, we will be looking at seven deadly Jedi one would not want to cross in a dark alley in the lower levels of Coruscant.

Please note that these deadly Jedi are in no particular order.

1. Pong Krell

The first deadly Jedi that springs to mind is Pong Krell, a Besalisk who was the same species as Obi-Wan Kenobi’s friend, Dexter Jettster.

Krell was a beast in lightsaber combat, given his multiple arms. He also foresaw the eventual fate of the Jedi Order, choosing to side with the Sith. Pong also hated the Clones, seeing them as nothing more than disposable.

2. Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader

Of all the deadly Jedi on this list, none come more than the Chosen One himself, Anakin Skywalker. While he did not start this way, Skywalker’s inability to keep tabs on his temper at all times was often a problem.

As Anakin’s power grew, the more the darkness pushed aside the good within. Finally, upon falling to the dark side in an attempt to save his heavily pregnant wife, Padmé and their unborn child, Skywalker became Darth Vader, a Jedi hunter who would become feared by all those who he hunted.

In the years after his death, his daughter, Leia and son-in-law, Han feared their son, Ben, would follow his grandfather’s dark footsteps.

3. Ben Solo/Kylo Ren

Born to the Skywalker family via his mother, Leia Skywalker Organa Solo, Ben Solo was born extremely strong in the Force. Even in the womb, his power was felt. Before his conception, Leia and Han became worried that any child born to a Skywalker would warrant the risk of falling to the Dark Side.

As a child, Ben’s Force power was so great that he could’ve rivalled his grandfather, especially when he had colossal Force temper tantrums. These outbursts terrified his parents, prompting them to send him to his Uncle Luke for Jedi training–a move that would prove deadly.

4. Mace Windu

During Anakin’s time as a Jedi, Jedi Master Mace Windu was one of the Jedi who was fierce with a lightsaber. A practitioner of form VII lightsaber combat, Windu constantly wrestled with the light and dark sides of the Force. So much so that he incorporated it into his lightsaber fighting style. This made him a deadly Jedi. However, it was not enough to save him from Palpatine.

5. Asajj Ventress

A former Jedi, Sith Assassin Asajj Ventress, wielded two red lightsabers that could be connected to form one. After the death of her master, Ventress became disillusioned with the Jedi and ended up becoming former Jedi Master Dooku’s Sith Assassin.

She would do her master’s bidding for years until he tried to have her assassinated.

6. Yoda

Never judge Master Yoda by his size. Yoda was a deadly Jedi as a combatant, given how quick he was to bounce off the walls and fight. As he tells Luke, “Size matters not.”

7. Obi-Wan Kenobi

Finally, we reach Obi-Wan Kenobi. A formidable and deadly Jedi combatant, Kenobi is known for his skills with a lightsaber and surviving encounters with dangerous adversaries. He was able to take on General Grevious and come out of the fight unscathed.
