7. The Monitor And Lois Bond
It might be hour three but we’re still being surprised. The most unexpected moment was the bonding session between the Monitor and Lois. As the Wife of Steel watches Earth-73 disappear on the map, the Monitor approaches her. She says she’s watching the biggest event in history and no one will ever read the story.
The Monitor tells her that the Earths that have been dispatched aren’t the only ones and that his world died too. He and Lois discuss his family and how they were so full of life. Though, it seems he regrets caring more about his work than those he loved. He compliments her on how good of a reporter she is.
