10. Barry and Jeff Talk About Their Losses
Another touching moment in the episode is when Barry and company return to the Waverider and he talks with Jefferson. A distraught Black Lightning tells him he lost the love of his life (his ex-wife Lynn) and his daughters (Jennifer and Annisa).
Barry tells him about the murder of his mother, Nora and that Reverse-Flash framed his father, Henry. In return, Jeff tells Barry about his own dad, Alvin and how he gave a voice to the voiceless as a reporter and that he was murdered when he was 12. He then tells Barry that their fathers didn’t raise quitters and that he understands what it means to save people. They then each give a proper introduction for themselves.
