Stargirl: Cameron Confides In Courtney But Will This Spell The Pending End Of Any Form Of Relationship Between Them?

Cameron won’t know what hit him when he discovers Courtney is hiding something from him.

How do you explain to the person you’re crushing on that your sibling killed their parent? There’s no ideal icebreaker for that. The synopsis for Stargirl Season 2 Episode 5 is here, and it’s going to be wild. Cameron talks to Courtney, and we sense it’s going to end badly. His life has been tragic as his mother died when he was five, and his dad wasn’t there much. Not to mention his grandparents were his guardians.

Given we’ve only seen Cameron in the premiere so far, he knows his father is dead. But he doesn’t know the circumstances behind what happened.

The synopsis reads:

STORMY WEATHER OVER BLUE VALLEY – As Pat and Courtney clash over their next steps in their search for Eclipso, ominous weather conditions in Blue Valley hint that he may be near. Meanwhile, Cindy‘s plan to recruit another student takes an unexpected turn, and Cameron opens up to Courtney.

Synopsis from the S02E05 episode page on Stargirl Fandom

As the Season continues to play out, tensions will rise further. Everyone is keeping secrets, and Cameron is in the dark about all of it. Even his grandparents disagree with whether he should know.

However, it looks like episode five will contain the icicle that breaks the ice monster’s back.

What Does The Synopsis Suggest?

We know Cindy is going after everyone in her Injustice Unlimited folder. If the synopsis is any indication, it mightn’t be Cameron. In episode four, she will go after Artemis. We’ve had a thought for a while that since Larry and Paula rejoin the fold, Artemis is Burman and Eclipso’s first target. So, we were right as there have been a series of promo stills released for episode four.

Ultimately, this leads us to Cameron and his affiliation. Perhaps, he is the third (or fourth) person Cindy recruits. Since he talks to Courtney in episode five, maybe she tells him about his dad. We can see that going downhill fast.

Could Whatever The Conversation Be About End Of Any Form Of Relationship?

Whatever happens in episode five might be the end of any relationship between Cameron and Courtney. As much as we don’t want it to end, we know it has to for the story. We’ve said before that no matter where the narrative goes, it will end in heartache. There is only a lose-lose outcome.

In conclusion, everyone Cameron knows has betrayed him. The truth would bring out his dormant powers. What’s more, is episode five might address what he saw the night his dad unleashed that torrent of ice when Christine died.
