Princess Diana would be rolling in her grave. Her sons, William and Harry, have never been more divided, thanks to Meghan Markle. As Tom Bower depicted in his book, Revenge, he calls the former Z-list actress “a divisive agent.” Well, he’s not wrong. Anyway, let’s get into this post. It would sadden the Princess of Wales to see her boys fighting and not on the same page. Though, one question remains; would William forgive Harry if something were to happen to the Duke of Sussex’s marriage?
For William, what his brother has done is inexcusable. Harry allowed Meghan to throw Catherine to the wolves and didn’t attempt to stop her. Moreover, this led to people becoming fired up. Before diving into this opinion piece, I want to say that we’ll be talking about William and Harry. I’m not marking it under royals as I don’t consider Harry in the modern day to be a royal as he doesn’t act like it.
The Big Sister Harry Never Had And William “The Snob”
Harry once considered Catherine to be the big sister he never had. He said this himself several years before Meghan came on the scene. He adored Kate and got along well with her. However, this changed when she, who mustn’t be named, arrived. The prince was so enamoured with Markle that he ignored the warnings of everyone.
William was branded a snob. Catherine was accused of not being friendly enough. Even the Spencers were caught up in the drama of Harry’s accusations that the family weren’t rolling out the red carpet for his latest conquest. According to Tom Bower, Princess Diana’s siblings failed to see any of their late sister in the actress.
Harry was disappointed that his aunts and uncle, Lady Sarah, Baroness Jane and Earl Spencer, didn’t see what he did. Just this alone gives us a significant indicator that Meghan was using Diana as a crutch to control the prince. If William could see it, so did a ton of other people.
Etonian Friends Saw Through The Act And The Potential Divorce
The Duke of Sussex’s Etonian friends and their partners all thought he was “f***ing nuts” to be with Meghan. It would be hard for them to forgive Harry if he were to go crawling back to them. I’ve said this before. Markle is the living embodiment of a succubus.
Ultimately, this takes us back to William and whether he will forgive Harry. In a sense, he might forgive him, but he will never be fully trusted. If Harry does divorce Meghan, it will cause the Sussex Squad to take their mistress’ side. Why? Because Harry went back to the racist institution. These will be their words. Also, they will say that the kids should stay with their mother as Harry is too unstable to be a father.
I will feel semi-sorry for Harry when this eventually happens. He will be left with nothing but his name. Also, whether he will get custody of the kids is questionable, given that the mother usually gets the children. It doesn’t just apply to one country; it depends on the situation.
Could William Forgive Harry? – My Opinion
Do I believe William should forgive Harry? It’s a two-way street for me. On the one hand, William should forgive his brother and move on. However, I doubt he will forgive him for allowing Meghan through Catherine under the bus and sending their gutter trash goon squad after her. On the other hand, Harry will be at his lowest. She will have taken everything and would likely blame him for whatever she decides to conjure up in her fantasy narrative.
William has always been a compassionate guy. Harry claims he’s the same, but he’s not. Look at how he treated his ex-girlfriends with his advanced paranoia. One of his former partners said he was constantly jumping at shadows and claimed paparazzi were in the bushes when there weren’t. Harry’s desperation to have the same type of marriage as William has been his downfall. His rush to marry Meghan (likely due to several factors) is just one of those instances where you’re left shaking your head.
Harry’s Shielding
Harry, despite his age, would’ve remembered some of the issues that plagued his parents’ marriage. This is why William dated Catherine on and off for almost a decade before he proposed. Let’s not forget that 1992 was a horrible year for the British royals. Three of the Queen’s children separated from their spouses, divorced or remarried. Edward wasn’t involved in the Queen’s four children as he and Sophie weren’t married during this time.
Also, William will never forgive Meghan. We know this as he saw through her when she showed up and dragged his brother across the pond by the ear. Diana would be weeping if she could see her sons’ division. Yes, she would’ve been happy for Harry to do what he wanted, but never would she approve of him trashing his family.
Diana’s Feelings Towards Her In-Laws And Harry Blames Charles
Diana was a staunch monarchist. She never once criticised her in-laws, at least in public. Her only issue was with Charles. She wanted her sons to have the same close relationship she had with her siblings, despite their parents’ divorce and their mother’s abandonment of them. Also, she is not the perfect woman Harry thinks she is. Given how Meghan has been playing the Diana card, he wanted to save her because he – as a twelve-year-old boy – could not prevent his mother’s fate. It has long been documented that he knew little of what was happening in his parents’ marriage. William, being older and more understanding, learned a significant amount.
William understood that his parents both had affairs and were flawed. However, Harry was shielded from the drama. In a lot of ways, this was a blessing and curse. This is because he’s had to invent a scenario for himself where he needs to blame his father for his mother’s issues. However, as referenced in Tom Bower’s book, Meghan did the deepest dive possible into Harry’s mental state and fed upon it. Although this is not my opinion, this is a fact as it came from Gina Nelthorpe-Cowne, Meghan’s former agent.
Harry’s Inner Rage
In all honesty, I believe that William will not allow Harry to be around his children without someone being there to watch him. Harry’s inner rage regarding his brother has been festering for years, and only now has it bubbled to the surface.
Meghan did not save Harry from his family. Instead, she destroyed him and the ties he had with them.
