When it comes to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, their lies are what get them into trouble. From their ‘bombshells’ on Oprah with Meghan and Harry to their BS on whatever platforms they twist and possess, it’s a crap show for them right now. But, as the world becomes disenchanted with them, the entries we’ll be talking about are the fabrications that aren’t talked about quite as much as the bigger ones.
We’re going to explore the following lies:

1. Meghan And The Story About The “Fire” In South Africa
Meghan Markle told one of the ridiculous lies during the first podcast episode of Archetypes. Not only was the whole thing about her and not her guest and supposed “friend” Serena Williams, but she had to outdo the tennis champion by saying her son, Archie, had a near-death experience in South Africa. The kicker is the palace allegedly forced her and Prince Harry to cover it up.
According to Markle, there was a fire in Archie’s room at the British High Commissioner’s house (which she called a ‘housing unit’), where they stayed on their South Africa tour. However, there is a slight issue. Mercury News has stated that royal sources questioned why this was never put in the press. The Sussexes are not above going to the media. Unfortunately, it gets a smidge worse. Meghan claimed that she and Harry had to work after the alleged incident where they were left shaken. Allegedly, their nanny was in a flood of tears. However, why would she be when Archie was with her?
We reported on the claim when it was revealed. Pro-Sussex publication, The Independent, claims that “security” says the fire happened. There is no way the palace would cover this up. Also, the SA media would have reported on it.
It’s well-documented that Meghan blows even the most minor incidents up into something bigger. We doubt the nanny cried. It has been reported that the heater smoked and was not on fire. One version came out stating that Markle bought the heater with her and that it was brand new. Again, though, we don’t get why she would have put a heater in the room when it was a hot day. Joseph Morris on YouTube screenshotted a passage from an article claiming that there was no fire.
2. Harry’s Lies About “His Terrible Upbringing.”
What hell it must be for a British prince raised in a palace where everything was covered. Prince Harry’s lies might not be as extreme as his wife’s are, but it shows how much he has changed since Meghan came on the scene. Anyway, during the Meghan Markle Oprah Interview, which had Haz as a side piece, he claimed that he had ‘genetic pain’ or whatever he’s crying over now due to his ‘terrible’ upbringing. In a nutshell, he blamed his grandparents, despite saying he would speak out against them, and his father for his lot in life.
Okay, this is where it gets weird. As we’ve said before, Prince Harry has a concise memory. We did a whole article on the times Charles was a ‘horrible’ parent to his sons, mostly Harry. Now, anyone who has done deep dives or followed the Brits since Princess Diana’s time will know that while Charles was involved in his sons’ younger lives, Diana did most of the parenting. Remember when she took the boys to amusement parks and fast food restaurants on her own accord? You never saw the now-King doing that.
A big part of Oprah with Meghan and Harry was the lie Harry told about taking Archie out on his bike. As we mentioned in the ‘horrible Charles’ article, there is photographic evidence that Harry went on bike rides with his parents as a child. There is plenty of evidence to support this.
Of all the times we’ve seen Harry on a bike since the Oprah interview, we haven’t seen a baby seat. Indeed, if he had, Meghan would’ve sent the paps.
3. Meghan’s Twisting Of The Rodney King Riots
One of Meghan’s tales is how she witnessed the Rodney King Riots in 1992. She recollects that she saw ash falling from the sky and thought it was snowing, only for her mother to tell her to get back in the house. Tom Bower’s book, Revenge, backs what Thomas Markle and his eldest daughter, Samantha, have said. According to their words, the former actress never saw the riots.
Now, we have to point out a couple of things here. One, Doria Ragland, her mother, is a constant dominator in many of these stories. Meghan conquers up out of her ass. Two, we know she is lying because Bower’s memoir states that Doria was not involved in her daughter’s life for a decade. These missing ten years cannot be accounted for, as not even Thomas knows what happened.
Thomas told Bower that when the riots started, he quickly removed Meghan from the situation before it escalated. He took her to Palm Springs. Doria was invited, but she remained where she was as she felt safe. The book also states that all the former actress might’ve seen was some building damage.
4. The Korean Spa Story
A recent addition to Meghan’s ledger of lies is the Korean spa story she told on Archetypes while talking to Margaret Cho. We’ve already addressed this, but there are a few things we didn’t know at the time.
Meghan’s Mole reviewed the ‘Dragon Lady’ episode and said that the American version of the Korean Spa doesn’t enforce the nudity rule the way the actual Korean Spas in Korea do. Another tiny bit we’ve heard is that Korean Spas (in America) don’t allow children into their facilities. However, in the podcast, Meghan claims that women between the ages of 9 and older were allowed.
However, our research concludes that most American Korean Spas allow children between the ages of 10 and 18 into their facilities but are only allowed in certain areas and must be accompanied by a same-gender guardian.
5. Lies About Samantha Markle
One set of lies we feel that doesn’t get touched on enough is the fibs Meghan has uttered against her sister, Samantha. The Meghan Markle Oprah interview (with Prince Harry) was a feeding frenzy of fabrications. One such lie is that Sam’s three children had three different fathers. This is a lie, and Samantha has said so herself.
The biggest and most laughable lie is when Meghan claimed she hadn’t seen her sister in decades. However, the last time they were in the same space was at Samantha’s college graduation in 2008, fourteen years ago. The former actress also claimed that her sister changed her last name back to Markle when she [Meghan] started dating Harry. Um. No. Sam was born a Markle, even if she had a different first name at birth.
6. Direct Line And Relationship With The (Late) Queen
All the media seems to care about the relationship between the Sussexes, Charles and Camilla or the Waleses. However, one relationship that isn’t bought up all that much is the Sussexes’ relationship with the late Queen. In the Oprah Interview with Harry and Meghan, Markle mentions that she picked up the phone and called Her Majesty directly after Prince Philip was admitted to the hospital.
First off, it didn’t happen like that. Why would Her Majesty have Meghan’s phone number in her mobile phone when there was every chance the conversation could’ve been recorded? Also, from what has been rumoured, the Queen only had two numbers she would answer. This information comes from Marie Claire, which is a pro-Sussex publication. However, we’re letting it slide. The source is a royal correspondent, who happens to be Jonathan Sacerdoti.
The article mentions that Charles, Andrew and Edward aren’t either of these two people. The first was Princess Anne, and the other was Her Majesty’s racing manager, John Warren. The article was released earlier in the year and tears apart what Meghan told Oprah.
All phone calls were picked up by palace staff. Also, we doubt that the Sussexes had a close relationship with The Queen. Meghan met her like what? A dozen times over two years? Archie was a baby and met her at least once. Lili never met her namesake. We do not believe those kids (if they exist) were even in the UK for the Jubilee in July.
Then, we get to Prince Harry. We doubt his grandmother forgave him for airing his grievances as his grandfather was dying. Sure, she probably wanted to keep a close bond with him, but this didn’t mean she liked what he did. Essentially, she played Harry, which we think is interesting.
7. Is All Well Between The Sussexes And The Brooksbanks?
The final of our lies isn’t a fib, but it borders on it. At the Queen’s funeral, there is an odd reaction from Princess Eugenie’s husband, Jack, when he lays eyes on Harry.
This screenshot was taken from one of the Body Language Guy’s live streams at the funeral. Now, we know Harry has always been close to Eugenie as they are the second children of their fathers. Moreover, Eugenie feels more like an outsider.
We know Eugenie attended the Superbowl this year or last year with Harry because there are photos to back this up. It has been speculated whether Harry and Meghan went to dinner with Eugenie and Jack or if it was Markus Anderson and not Jack.
The dinner photo makes it hard to tell who the second guy is, but we can tell you now that these weren’t random pap shots. Usually, we don’t like using pap shots in articles, but we will if it drives home a point for the conversation. Honestly? We think the second man in the photo is Markus because of the haircut and the bone structure of the guy’s jaw. Also, Jack’s not buff, but Markus is.
We believe Jack has more respect for the royals than it has been perceived. After all, we did report the rumour of his alleged exploits. It’s a similar narrative with Beatrice. The media lumps Beatrice in with Eugenie. From what we’ve seen, Bea respects her family, as does her husband, Edoardo.
Finally, we believe that Jack does have a problem with the Sussexes. However, we saw somewhere that the body language between Meghan and Eugenie at the funeral wasn’t great. To be honest, we reckon Eugenie is still close to Harry.
