When Could The Bold And The Beautiful Resume Filming?

We have an update for when The Bold and Beautiful may resume filming!

Yes, we know. It’s been a while since we’ve posted anything related to The Bold and the Beautiful. There’s been nothing to report given that the last new episode was in April. Since then, there’s been themed weeks using old episodes which is fine but we’re not watching since it’s not really worth it. We want CURRENT drama! Anyway, we have a bit of an update regarding when filming may resume.

According to numerous sources including Deadline and Soaps, have stated that they are hopeful that production can commence in June. A few days ago, actor Scott Clifton (Liam Spencer) revealed that the producers have a plan in place to resume filming and have been keeping everyone on the cast and crew informed. However, the dates they have previously been given have fallen through. He mentioned that they were trying for a May 15 start, but we’re not sure this happened hence the June suggestion.

Whatever their plan is, resuming production will be the least of their issues. They will have rewrite a lot of stuff to avoid a possible outbreak. This means they won’t be to do kissing or love scenes or anything involving touching.

Once filming does resume, it will take a couple of months before we see anything on our screens. Though, we might something about a month after it starts back up as they film two episodes a day, five days a week (we assume!) That’s roughly 60 episodes a month and it takes about six weeks for an episode already aired in the US to air in Australia if you’re watching the show via the TV and not the fast-tracked episodes on 10Play.

Please bear in mind that the proposed May/June dates are not concrete as the situation is always changing. When we have more information we’ll be sure to issue it.
