Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

What Is The New Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?

New, TMNT

There is a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, and we will talk about it! So, the new film is Mutant Mayhem, directed by Mitchell and the Machine director, Jeff Rowe and produced by Seth Rogan (described in the trailers as a “permanent teenager”) and Evan Goldberg.

The film is a fresh origin story for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles that has never been told before. It has also started a new franchise containing a sequel and a television series, Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. No launch date has been issued by Paramount+ just yet.

How The New Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Came Into Existence… Kinda

In Mutant Mayhem, the turtles were mutating when Splinter came across them in the sewer. He was then mutated because he, too, touched the green ooze. The giant rat then had to learn how to parent on his own while dealing with four sons who were fascinated with humans.

Meanwhile, April O’Neil is a teenage girl bullied because she vomited live on air while presenting the morning announcements. This also reveals that despite her desire to be a journalist, she hates being on camera and the centre of attention. A running theme in the film seems to be the line, “It didn’t go well.” Splinter recaps his two bad experiences with humans. The Mutants also have a similar thing going for them.

Finally, the film deals with fear, overcoming it, and how being different doesn’t make you strange. It makes you unique and allows you to stand out amongst a crowd of people with values that all blend together.
