There has long been talk of a feud between Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, David, and Victoria Beckham. A source and friend of Project Fangirl, recommended the 2002 documentary Becoming Victoria Beckham. It is an exciting glimpse into the Beckhams in the early 2000s. However, it also raised a few red flags, such as whether the Duchess of Sussex used some of Posh Spice’s true love story to fabricate her life story.
We’re bringing this theory up because the Becoming Victoria Beckham documentary showed some rather eerie parallels between what Meghan Markle has said and done in the past.
Some of these might be a bit of a stretch, but we’re including them anyway.
Victoria Beckham And Meghan Markle Always Wanted To Be Famous
Meghan Markle and Victoria Beckham always wanted to be famous. However, there is a difference between the two.
Victoria fought her way to success without needing to be a nepo baby. She didn’t have any help in reaching her level of success.
Meghan Markle, meanwhile, used people in the industry to get ahead. She attempted to use her ex-husband, Trevor Engelson, to get acting roles, but he told her “no.” She also used her dad’s intel to get small-bit roles. The most notable was on the soap General Hospital as a nurse so she could get a union card. At least, this is what the rumour is.
Took A Fancy Car
Victoria mentions in the 2002 documentary that her dad had a brown Rolls-Royce and that he had to work hard to buy it.
Meghan, meanwhile, would visit her dad while he was working on television sets as a lighting director in a fancy car that would be sent to pick her up. This is according to Tom Bower in his book Revenge.
Married A Famous Man
Victoria was told by a manager that she needed a famous boyfriend, and she was paired with David Beckham, whom she later married. Hmm. This sounds awfully familiar. Oh, right!
Lizzy Cundy says Meghan Markle asked if she knew any famous British guys, as she wanted an English boyfriend. This was three years before Markle got with Harry.
Acts Against Children
David and Victoria were horrified to learn that there was a plot in 2002 to kidnap Posh and her two young sons, Brooklyn and Romeo. This was mentioned in the Becoming Victoria Beckham documentary. It was foiled, and the police questioned several people.
Meghan claimed in The Cut interview that the British press allegedly called her son, Archie, the N-word. There are a few things wrong with this. First, the British don’t use the N-word, let alone the British press. It is an American term. Also, if someone in the press did say it, it would’ve been reported on, and that person would’ve been fired from their job. It is possible she was referencing the ape picture that some radio host posted and got fired for. There’s a big difference between a picture and using the N-word.
Victoria And Meghan Allege Media Intrusion
There is a big difference between Victoria having the media intrusion and Meghan alleging the same thing.
Pre-2007 was a nightmarish time to be a celebrity, regardless of which country you lived in. Victoria or her mother said that Beckham would work in a shop, and then someone from the shop would call the paps.
Meghan claimed the paps hounded her while she and Harry were dating. It has come out in recent years that she was notorious for calling the paps on herself. However, the shots never sold because no one knew who she was then. She only became known when she dated Harry. She still calls the paps, yet she criticises her dad for those pictures that got him blacklisted from her life.
Working Dad
Victoria’s dad started his own business, and he had to work insanely hard.
Thoms Markle had to work hard as a lighting director to give Meghan a good life, which he couldn’t give his two older kids.
Performance Kids
Meghan and Victoria, in their quests for fame, did dance lessons and whatever else to get ahead, which is what many kids do. However, Victoria’s classes in dance and singing paid off. Meghan did dance lessons and performed in school musicals, usually in the lead role.
Victoria got the chance to visit her former dance school and had the principal on the Becoming Victoria Beckham doco.
Meghan never returned to her former dance school, but she did return to her elementary school or high school, where her yearbook came back to bite her as it stated she always wanted to be famous. Also, she fobbed off one of her professors at Northwestern University when she was told she had potential as an actor and that she should take theatre to help enhance her skills.
Meghan Markle And Victoria Beckham: Big Weddings
Both Meghan Markle and Victoria Beckham had big weddings. However, only one story is accurate when they both wanted small weddings.
Victoria always had her heart set on a small wedding, but the wedding just got more prominent as time passed. The wedding planner was Peregrine Armstrong-Jones, the younger half-brother of Antony Armstrong-Jones and Princess Margaret’s former husband.
Meghan, meanwhile, said she and Harry got married in the backyard of where they were living at the time, with just the Archbishop of Canterbury, which is a criminal offence. This led Justin Welby to come forward and say that he would’ve been committing a crime if he had married them in the backyard and that the wedding was on the 19th of May 2018, not three days before.
Also, what gave Meghan away was her touching her nose and the overuse of her hand gestures.
