Editor’s Note: Apologises for the breakdown being less detailed than usual. I was working on another post when I decided I wanted to write about this too, and the plot only half exists in my head as I was too focused on the previous post.
Theo will FINALLY be able to breathe a sigh of relief – Dimitri is in a world of hurt as of next week. After John sees him on the beach, he goes straight to Leah and Justin to tell them that the eldest Poulos sibling is still in the Bay. After returning from seeing her sister-in-law alongside her nephew, Leah is determined to prevent her brother from hurting anyone else.
Leah and Theo learn while away that the family had no clue what Dimitri was doing and that he and Cassandra had separated. Then, he goes after Justin and knocks him out to make it worse. The mechanic regains consciousness long enough to ring his partner before he passes out.
Receiving the call but getting no answer, Leah and Theo rush to the garage to find Justin knocked out on the ground. Telling her nephew to ring triple zero, the diner co-owner managers to get a response when she asks her boyfriend who punched him; Dimitri.
Upon Justin’s admission to the hospital, he suffers a seizure due to his concussion.
Theo, refusing to be afraid of his father any longer, confronts him after receiving a voice message from him. Dimitri orders his son to get in the car, only to be refused. Not liking his son’s attitude, Dimitri attempts to beat up his son. Cash, who is on the way to work, takes them to the police station.
Theo Finally Begins Getting Justice
Dimitri refuses to take responsibility for anything.
Eventually, Leah shows up after having spoken to Justin, who doesn’t want to press charges for the sake of Theo. Instead, she tells Cash she intends to press charges on her boyfriend’s behalf. But then, Theo says his father hitting Justin isn’t the first time he’s been violent. He finally confesses that Dimitri has been the same towards him.
While this is where the week’s worth of episodes ends, it’s not the story’s conclusion. Not by a long shot.
Dimitri will have a LOT of explanations, though he won’t hold himself accountable. He never will, as he will hold onto his narcissistic traits. He has already blamed Justin and Leah for his wife leaving him and has accused them of brainwashing Theo. Now that the whole family knows, he has nowhere to turn.
He also takes a swipe during a phone call at Cassandra by saying she’s his wife and that his sister is a disgrace to the family. As Justin said, he needs to take a long hard look in the mirror. No one is at fault but him.
