Ouch! Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Snubbed From The Emmy Nominations

Emmys, sussexes

Meghan Markle must be fuming right now. The Emmy nominations were just released, and the Sussexes’ Netflix series was not nominated for any awards, according to Deadline. In contrast, this should be a massive win for the Megxiteer community. However, it also shows the blatantly obvious ploy was to get them into the A-list parties and the crowds the former actress has dreamed of her entire life of being within.

It also shows Hollywood doesn’t want them invited to more significant events. The Sussexes are well-known for putting out puff pieces claiming they’ve been invited to the MET Gala and the Oscars when they weren’t. Also, just because you get high ratings on something doesn’t ensure award success. Also, it is well established that Meghan buys awards for herself.

If anything, Meghan would probably blame Harry and the teams behind the reality show – let’s get real here. That’s what it was – for not getting that nomination as was promised. As Brittany of Royal News Network said in her video about the Emmys snub, plates will fly.

The Sussexes Move To Hollywood Was Meghan’s Idea (Clearly)

Meghan is the driving force behind the move to Hollywood. It is her dream. Not Harry’s. She thought that having a title would give her what she wanted. But even in Tinseltown, being a princess or duchess means nothing. You need to have some talent to be taken seriously. Markle went to the Emmys when she was younger with her dad, so she would know that it takes dedication and hard work to get there. They won’t hand over an award for a mediocre reality show about a family dispute. The Kardashians have more appeal.

While everyone loves getting dirt on other people, the constant attacks of the British Royal Family have been unwarranted. Moreover, the Sussexes can claim victimhood, but Hollywood sees through it and is as tired of it as the rest of the world.

Therefore, the Emmys snub was well-deserved. It might teach Meghan a few things about humility and accepting a lost as it is. Finally, it might even make her wake up that people just don’t like her a person and that it has nothing to do with her race.
