We’ve reached the halfway point of Ms Marvel, and we love Bruno so much! When will Bruno admit that he is crushing super hard on Kamala? It’s evident to the viewer, but is it obvious to our titular superhero? Last week’s episode seems to imply that even Ms Marvel is beginning to sense it. After all, their dance at Aamir and Tyesha’s wedding was rudely cut short by Kamran.
Sure, Kamran’s evil mother and goons want Kamala, but nothing should get in the way of young love, right? Anyway, Bruno does a lot for Kamala. He supports her when they both know most people won’t. But, look at how her mother, Muneeba, looks down her nose at how different she is. She would rather her daughter be like all the other academic girls. However, we believe Yusuf and Aamir would be more accepting if they were to find out about Kamala’s powers.
Aamir and Kamala are very close, and if something were to happen to Kamala, Bruno would go to one of them, knowing they would want to help. This is just a thought we have. We know that Bruno accepts Kamala’s powers and understands her better than anyone else. So, if the Khans were to find out about it and disapprove, Bruno might have to be the one who makes them see sense.
Muneeba and Yusuf adore Bruno and have come to see him as their family member. So, if they cannot accept their daughter for who she is, Bruno will need to step up even further and show them that Kamala is still who she was, but better. It would also break Muneeba’s expectations for Kamala to be this perfect human being she has always envisioned.
Bruno v. Kamran
Bruno has been through so much with Kamala, and how Kamran is the threat that could take that away. The guy might be lovely, but Kamala and Bruno’s friendship threatens him. He doesn’t want to share Kamala; that much is clear.
The attraction Kamala has to both boys is either Kamala x Bruno or Kamala x Kamran. Whoever she chooses will have the difficult task of serving as her answer to what Pepper Potts was to Tony Stark or MJ was to Peter Parker.
Though, what will happen to the other once Kamala makes her choice? It will be interesting to see what happens. But, only one will prevail in winning our girl’s heart.
