Meet The Planet Express Team!

Planet Express team

Futurama is back on our screens, and we thought we’d go over who the Planet Express team are, from Professor Farnsworth to his ancestor Philip J. Fry and Leela; this a unique group of individuals. So, without further ado, let’s meet them. Before continuing, we want to point out that we will only cover the leading players. Also, be sure to check out our post on the characters who were absent from the Season premiere.

Firstly, we have Professor Hubert Farnsworth. He is the owner and founder of Planet Express. He is the distant nephew of Fry and the father of Cubert.

Next, we have Hermes Conrad, the Planet Express team’s accountant, office manager and bureaucrat. He is the father of Dwight and the on-off husband of LaBarbara.

You also cannot have a delivery service with the ship captain, where Turanga Leela comes in. She is the daughter of Morris and Munda, two mutants living in the sewers, and the biological mother of Kif and Amy’s children.

Speaking of Amy, she is the daughter of wealthy couple Leo and Inez Wong, who live on Mars and are obsessed with wanting grandchildren. She is the wife of Kif and the adoptive mother of Kif’s children.

Philip J. Fry arrived a thousand years in the future in the Serie premiere back in 1999. He is the delivery boy of the Planet Express team. He is his own grandfather after he sleeps with his grandmother during a time travel mission, meaning he is the father of his father as well as his son.

Bender Bending Rodriguez is a robot who becomes Fry’s best friend. Furthermore, he is also responsible for a lot of the heavy lifting.

Finally, before Fry showed up, Planet Express went through five captains, and most ended up dead. This is before Leela.
