Could it be possible that Jasmine might be suffering a phantom pregnancy?
We’ve mentioned that Jasmine might be pregnant with her late husband’s baby and that she pieced it together, but what are the chances that she might be suffering from a phantom pregnancy?
What Is A Phantom Pregnancy?
A phantom pregnancy is when a woman displays all the symptoms of being pregnant but there is no baby and there was no conception.
Symptoms of a false pregnancy include the following:
- Swelling Breasts
- Nausea
- Labour Pains
- Breast changes
- Lactation
- Weight Gain
- Inverted belly button
- Increased appetite

What Symptoms Does Jasmine Have That Show She’s Pregnant?
Other than the fact that her period is 47 days late, she says she’s been feeling sick, has zero appetite, and hasn’t been feeling like herself. Only some of these symptoms match a phantom pregnancy. The only way to be certain is to have an ultrasound done.
If Jasmine is pregnant it could mean that she would be giving Grace a sibling. That would bring her and Tori closer as their kids would share a father.
Also, Jasmine sees Grace her own, despite Tori being her mother. She did help raise the little girl for the first six weeks of her life while her mum was in a coma. We think as far as the baby will be concerned, she’s got two mothers for the price of one.
Aftermath
So, we need to ask ourselves what the aftermath of this storyline might be for all involved. Depending on whether Jasmine is pregnant and she carries the child to birth, then it might be happy all around. However, it might go pear shaped and something terrible happens.
We also need to think about it from a behind-the-scenes perspective. If they decide to make Jasmine pregnant then she loses the baby than what’s the point of having the story head in that direction and then it ends in tragedy?
As we’ve said before, we don’t want this to happen. Jasmine is a fantastic character and Sam [Frost] has become a great actress. She’s done well so far and it would be a shame for a storyline to end in a negative way.
