Cast Of Madame Web

Madame Web, cast

Madame Web has a cast, but we don’t know much about who plays who. Only two characters with actors attached have been officially named so far. The Madame Web movie release date that we know of is February 14 2024, in the United States, yet, given the SAG-AFTA strike that is still ongoing, the date may change as many titles have.

Let’s go over what we do know.

UPDATE: A recent trailer has confirmed some of the casting rumours for Madame Web to be accurate. However, there are still a couple of castings not yet confirmed.

The Confirmed Madame Web Cast

So far, the only actors to have confirmed roles are Dakota Johnson as Cassandra Webb/Madame Web and Sydney Sweeney as Julia Carpenter/Spider-Woman.

However, other actors were revealed to have been cast, but their characters have not been publicly named. These include:

  • Celeste O’Connor
  • Isabela Merced (some have speculated Isabela might be Anya Corazon, another version of Spider-Woman)
  • Tahar Rahim
  • Emma Roberts (rumoured to be playing Peter Parker’s pregnant mother, Mary Parker)
  • Mike Epps
  • Adam Scott
  • Zosia Mamet

it is unknown if any other actors were added to the cast that were not announced.

Who Is The Spiderman Character Madame Web?

We’ve touched on many spider-women before, but here’s a brief rundown of Madame Web as a character.

There have been several Madame Webs, but Cassandra Webb is probably the most famous. She is usually portrayed as an old woman who is blind and clairvoyant. However, in the upcoming film, she is a much younger woman. While we don’t know why this was done, we’ll find out once the film is released.

The movie has been pitched as Sony’s answer to Doctor Strange in its Spider-Man character universe.
