Home And Away: Word Of Ari’s Death Spreads

passing

Ari’s passing starts spreading around the Bay – The sudden passing of Ari Parata is the last thing the residents of Summer Bay expected. It begins when Bella rings Dean to inform him of his friend’s death. He then tells Ziggy, who passes the message along to Roo, Alf, and Irene. This was one storyline we did not expect when we wrote our what to expect post.

Roo then rings Ryder. What makes the impact of Ari’s passing even more tragic is that Mac overhears Logan, Ziggy, and Dean’s conversation. She refuses to believe it at first, but her brother assures her that it’s true and that her ex is gone.

Logan is confused, so Ziggy pulls him outside, and they take a walk where they discuss Mac and Dean’s relationships with Ari. The doc says he knows about Dean’s friendship with Ari, but he doesn’t understand Mac’s history with him. He admits that he was aware that she was in a relationship where she ended up pregnant but didn’t know the guy was Ari.

Ziggy only has to drop hints, and he works it out.

Ari’s Passing Receives Several Reactions

All the people who knew Ari, his passing receives bittersweet reactions. Mac reacts with violent sobs. Dean doesn’t know who to blame. Roo, Alf, and Justin try to take Ryder’s mind off it by throwing him a celebratory lunch for his TAFE graduation. Theo tries to encourage Ryder to message Chloe to show his support. Ryder struggles to find a way to support his ex. When he goes to his celebratory lunch, he snaps at his family and friends for being ‘ignorant.’

Going back to Dean, he reacts violently at first to his friend’s passing. Ultimately, he blames Logan but is quick to redirect the blame.

In conclusion, this storyline shows that life is short and precious. You don’t realise what you have until it is cruelly snatched away from you. Next up with we have Ari’s passing where his family says their final goodbyes to him. Thank god, they’ve gotten off the Chloe being obsessed with Bella storyline.
