Lori Loughlin is now sitting in a low security prison cell as she faces the weight of her actions of trying to get her daughters admitted to the University of Southern California because of their wealth…
Lori, Lori, Lori. Did you really think you wouldn’t go to prison for trying to scam your daughters’ way into USC? Well, the actress has finally reported to do her two months in a cell, according to 9Honey. You’ll probably remember we reported on it a heap last year. Here’s a few of the posts we did:
- Idiot Parents
- Olivia Jade’s Fans Forgive Her And Her Family
- Who Were Olivia Jade’s Sponsors Before The College Admissions Scandal?
- Will Olivia Jade’s Career Recover?
We did a few posts but there’s too many for us to include them all here.
Now that Lori, who thought she was better than her more wealthy neighbours, is spending time in prison, she might realise that she is just like everyone else; touchable by greed.
You can guarantee that we will be doing a Babes Without Bullshit post on this a little down the line. The Loughlin-Giannulli family is one of those many famous clans that think they are better than everyone else because they’re ‘recognisable’.
We knew who Lori was because of Full House and through research. However, we had no idea she was married or that she had daughters. It surprised us. When she hit the headlines for the college admissions scandal, it was surprising to us. As we were doing research for our ‘Idiot Parents’ post in which we called out not just Loughlin and her husband, but other rich parents too for think that because they have money, they won’t get caught or go to prison.
What We Think
This comes across as a problem. Shoving a parent who is worth millions in prison when they tried to fight the ‘allegations’ that were obviously true is the best way to deal with the situation. However, the sentencing could have been better, especially since she did more terrible things than Felicity Huffman.
Prison will do Lori a world of good… hopefully. She should see how people behind the bars cope. Perhaps she will have realised that the world does not revolve around the rich and that she’ll actually listen to her daughters when they said – or at least, Olivia did – that they didn’t want to go to college.
