NCIS Sydney To Be First International Spin-Off To NCIS

Welcome to the franchise, NCIS Sydney!

NCIS is getting its first international title set outside of the United States. NCIS Sydney is joining the long-running franchise in 2023 as part as a recently announced deal between Network 10 and Paramount+. 

The entire series will be set in Sydney and feature an all-Australian cast and crew. Shane Brennan, an Australian, will be responsible for bringing NCIS Los Angeles to life will be the showrunner. Currently, there is no other information available as the announcement was only recently made.

NCIS Sydney will put Australia on the map once more as JAG did with its two-part storyline “Boomerang” in 2000.

The series will also provide international audiences will a look at how naval operations work in Australia. Unfortunately, there’s not much more we can share. Hopefully soon, we can share the cast announcement with you and the premiere date when it gets closer.

  • Los Angeles
  • New Orleans
  • Hawai’i

The franchise has also crossed over with Hawaii Five-O and  Scorpion.

NCIS Sydney will also assist the Australian film industry by providing jobs and putting our cast and crew on an even bigger map for greatness. Hollywood already knows the strong work ethic of our Australian cast and crew. Now, it’s time for one of the most-watched television franchises in the entire world to show off one of Australia’s most iconic landmarks

Sydney has a lot to offer in regards to location. There are also studio facilities in and around Sydney for post-production and interior use. Whatever way the series plays out, we’ll follow production closely so be sure to check back or subscribe to the blog for updates.

NCIS Sydney hits Network and Paramount+ sometime in 2023. Production begins later in the year.
