Mike becomes a babysitter to a little girl he nicknames Snore…
After what happened with Boo in Monsters Inc, Mike’s attitude towards human kids hasn’t exactly changed. However, when Phlegm causes damage to a little girl’s room, Val and Tylor are sent in to repair it. When the job becomes too much of a risk to keep the child in her bedroom Mike reluctantly agrees to babysit her and nicknames her Snore.
Sulley makes fun of Mike for naming the child. This comes after being told himself during the Boo situation that if you name a child, you become attached. Despite his best efforts, Mik tries to come up with an excuse for naming Snore. He says that he only nicknamed the child because if someone comes to ask him about a thing, he wouldn’t know what the other monster was talking about.
We, of course, know this is a load of crap. Mike became fond of Boo in the end and hugged her when they were saying goodbye.
Mike And Sulley Take Snore To A Baseball Game
With MILF busy fixing Snore’s room, Mike and Sulley take Snore to a baseball game, and well, it doesn’t go down too well. A rowdy baseball fan sitting behind them is constantly disruptive. Mike does his best to keep Snore asleep and even gives her the monster version of a hotdog to keep her quiet. However, it goes straight through her and she needs to be changed. This results in Mike missing a lot of the game.
The rowdy fan continues his antics which annoys Mike to the point they nearly end up in a fight. It comes apparent that Mike and Sulley need to leave before the guy wakes up. Prior to this, Sulley tells Mike to sing to the baby which he refuses to do as they’re at a baseball game.
Val Annoys Tylor
With Mike and Sulley watching Snore, Val and Tylor call in Cutter to help them with the repairs to Snore’s room. Duncan watches as their ‘supervisor’. Throughout the whole task, Val keeps asking Tylor he remembers their time at MU together.
Tylor, gets annoyed and snaps at her. This sadnesses her and she says that when she got to MU, no one noticed her but Tylor did when he sat next to her in class. As they’re packing up, Tylor reveals he actually does remember as Val shared her candy with him. She perks up and once again becomes talkative.
Mike Sings For Snore
When Mike and Sully return to Monsters Inc with Snore, Celia and Sulley suggests Mike sing to the child after she becomes restless. Reluctantly, Mike does as told and Snore goes back to sleep.
