The Bold And The Beautiful: Steffy Has Finally Grown Up And Moved Away From Liam! And What Is Jack Hiding?

matured

Matured at last.

Steffy Forrester is no longer the whiny, Liam-obsessed, man-eater she once was. Instead, she has matured to the point we have come to admire her. She has found a great guy in Finn, and they have a little boy with their son, Hayes. What’s more, the Spencer men are no longer on the co-CEO’s mind. Thank god. We thought she and Hope would be fighting forever over Liam like their mothers constantly argued over Ridge for all those years.

As she prepares to marry Finn, it shows she has matured, but what will happen when she learns her soon-to-be father-in-law, Jack, is hiding something? Next week, Steffy and her hot doctor man marry in front of their family and friends. However, someone will show up that will throw things slightly off course.

Now, here’s the minor hiccup. We think we know a mystery person will show up, but who could it be? We know that in the first episode of next week, Finn’s adoptive mother, Li, will arrive. But there’s going to be someone else who will show up; the doc’s bio mother. Or at least, that has been hinted at as per Soaps. This mysterious woman will appear in the second-last episode of next week so grab your popcorn buckets or even your favourite beverage because it’s going to get dramatic!

No Longer Liam-Obsessed

It’s nice to see that Steffy and Liam co-parent so effectively without having to be romantic. Though, if anything, if Steffy and Finn end up getting married – hopefully, it will make Liam realise he can no longer flip-flop between her and Hope anymore.

Finn has had a positive impact on the situation. He doesn’t tolerate Liam’s constant flip-flopping to Steffy every time something happens with Hope, and that’s awesome! Hopefully, he’ll get the picture and stay with his wife this time. If he hasn’t, then Hope deserves a man with an actual brain.

Going back to Steffy, she has had a great life and has a daughter with Liam to show for it. However, it is time for her to let him go officially. She has quite literally the perfect man in Finn, and she knows it. However, she’d be a fool to give it up for her ex-husband, who cannot decide who he wants to be with. We know this was Finn’s concern when she refused to elope on their living room couch.

It has been months since Steffy went off at Liam for leaving her, but we do have to remember she was addicted to drugs when she said it. He also said he and Hope were taking Kelly until she got better. Well, we all know how well that went down. There was screaming, tears, and there were accusations of kidnapping. The list goes on. However, she has since entered the significantly matured road of recovery.

While this is all great, it needs to be noted that she has not thought about Liam once since the paternity drama ended with a then-unborn Hayes. She only mentions him when Kelly is with him, Hope, Beth, and Douglas.

What Exactly Is Jack Hiding?

We met Finn’s dad, Jack, in the week’s final episode and the second he opened his mouth, we liked him immediately. He is laid back and incredibly welcoming to Steffy into his family. We mentioned a little while before that he and his wife, Li, would appear at some point. Well, the time is now, but the matriarch of the Finnegan family hasn’t popped up. But, as we stated earlier, she arrives next week.

Now, we have to go over what exactly Jack is hiding? There could be a few things.

  • Jack and Li might know who their son’s biological mother is.
  • Jack or Li might be one of Finn’s bio parents but not the other.
  • Li remained behind a bit longer to stop the bio mother from appearing.

That also leaves us with who Finn’s biological mother might be. The pool is small, given how many women there are in the show.

  • Pam Douglas – unlikely given she’s in her 60s-70s.
  • Shauna Fulton – likelihood is a bit higher, and she hasn’t been seen in a while.
  • Taylor Hayes – Possible, but it’s hard to imagine the B&B writers adding incest to the show.
  • Sheila Carter – Possible as she too just vanished when no story was left for her.
  • Donna Logan – unlikely.
  • Morgan DeWitt – Possible as she hasn’t been mentioned in almost 20 years.
  • Katie Logan – unlikely.
  • Karen or Danielle Spencer – unlikely.
