Is Marilyn hiding a secret? Home and Away is teasing a new story for our girl Marilyn Chambers. But could it be something she never thought she could have again? So, to backtrack, we’re talking about her desire to become a mother. While it hasn’t been mentioned in a while, Maz shares an adoptive son, Jett, with her ex-husband, John Palmer. But unfortunately, John got caught in a feud with the Paratas when they showed up, which dampened his and Marilyn’s marriage.

Marilyn also had a son with Donald Fisher (aka Flathead), whom she married years ago. Unfortunately, Byron, their son, died at a young age, resulting in their marriage falling apart. Anyway, at one point, she was going to adopt Nicole Franklin’s son, George, with her ex-partner Sid Walker. However, Nicole decided to keep the baby and left the Bay with Angelo Rosetta. We all know that Nicole and Angelo did not stay together as he married a woman named Taylor.

Angelo and Taylor were caught up in the drama with Colby’s exit storyline. In addition, Taylor had an affair with Colby, which only pushed Angelo to hate Colby more. Let’s not forget that whole thing last year where Maz went psycho and did a load of things she wouldn’t usually do. At least she didn’t try to kidnap someone’s child as Jasmine did to baby Grace. There was been worse drama in the Bay like an explosion.

The Secret Daughter?

So, moving on to what we know about this new storyline with Marilyn, she finds an envelope addressed to her with a baby picture inside. On the back are the words, “Guess who?” Then a young woman becomes a student of Roo’s who has gotten back into tutoring and seems familiar with Maz. When she asks her if they’ve met, Marilyn brushes her off.

Back to the Bay reveals that the woman, who happens to be blonde, is named Heather. Now, there are a few things that the storyline could be. The first, the girl is Marilyn’s daughter. Number two is that it’s a scam. Point three is Byron is still alive. And finally, we have the girl who could be someone Marilyn babysat after she left the Bay all those years ago and formed an attachment to.

Given we know now that the baby in the photo is a girl, we can throw the Byron theory out. Of course, it could be a con job, but why would someone play on Marilyn’s emotions by trending to be a long-lost child?
