Pete Evans Gets Banned From Facebook… About Time!

facebook

Facebook finally did the right thing and banned former celebrity chef from its platform. About freaking time…

Pete Evans knows how to make his own life spiral. The former judge on My Kitchen Rules has been banned from Facebook for sprouting misinformation, as per ABC News about the coronavirus. This is not the first time he has been called out for his ‘views’. His earliest brush with controversy that we can remember is when he told mothers to stop feeding their newborns formula and to give them bone broth.

This is not the first time that Facebook has had to remove Evans’ work. They have previously removed posts, but this time it’s the whole page due to the constant violations of website policies. Sure, it’s fine to voice your opinion, but not when its misinformation and conspiracy theories that people are known to believe.

We’ve spoken about Pete Evans and his weird mind before. Our column, Babes Against Bullshit also covered the former chef’s stance on COVID-19. Finally, there was also the sources who ‘denied’ Evans was invited to join the 2021 season of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

Just this year, Evans has gotten into so much trouble regarding a machine that ‘kills’ coronavirus in which his company was fined $25,000 for spreading misinformation. Then, just a few weeks ago, he got into trouble… again for using the Neo-Nazi symbol. He claimed it could be intercepted several ways. Oh, and there is also the cancellation of his book deals with Pan Macmillan.

The man is a nut job. He blew his chance to be a beloved television chef. Sure, everyone is entitled to their opinions. That’s the way our world works. However, trying to scare people with conspiracy theories is not the answer to anything. If anything, it is redundant as all it causes more chaos and people will stand against those beliefs.
