Will Obi-Wan Face Off Against The Inquisitorius?

Obi-Wan will need to watch his back – The biggest face-off we’ll see in the Obi-Wan Kenobi series will be the rematch between Kenobi and Vader. However, has anyone asked the question of if we’ll see the former Jedi Master go up against the Inquisitorius?

That’s the question we’re going to be exploring in this post. We bring this up due to a reference we made in an article about Obi-Wan’s reason to leave Tatooine. One of the points we came up with included a rumour from Bespin Bulletin regarding Benny Safdie’s character. It alleges he’ll play a Jedi looking for Kenobi.

In the first trailer for the series, we got a look at the live-action iterations of the Grand Inquisitor and the Fifth Brother. Both these Inquisitors feature in the first two seasons of Star Wars Rebels. We’re also given a sneak peek at the Third Sister and another inquisitor who we don’t have an identification for.

If the theory is true that Reva arrives on Tatooine to hunt down the Nari character as Bespin Bulletin alleges, then will there be a face-off between Obi-Wan and the Inquisitorius? We would have to say, yes. The teaser trailer footage shows a shoot out between who we think are Reva and Obi-Wan.

See the shots above. One scene is in an alley where “Obi-Wan” has a blaster and Reva is watching to see what he’ll do.

The second shot is on a rooftop. Though, one thing is obvious. Neither scene appear to take place on Tatooine. Whether Obi-Wan goes up against the Grand Inquisitor and the Fifth Brother is to be seen. He might become known to them, but that might be as far as it goes. It might be why Reva is after him.
