Crown Princess Mary To Become Queen! – OPINION

Crown Princess Mary Queen

Crown Princess Mary was always destined to be Queen of Denmark. I’ve expressed before when my royal watching ‘career’ began. It was 2004, 20 years ago (OMG!), when Mary and Frederik married in Copenhagen. I also recall the first pregnancy announcement with Prince Christian in 2005 and the confusion over Princess Josephine’s name at the Christening.

Now everything has come full circle on Crown Princess Mary’s journey to become Queen. She has earned her place by keeping her head down and not fighting back when horrible things are said about her or her family.

Crown Princess Mary is to me what Princess Diana was to my mother’s generation. I’ve always had a deep appreciation for what the future Queen does for the Danish people and she’s a fantastic role model for every Australian.

What has always made me admire Mary is her unpretentiousness towards her role. She doesn’t force people to like her. She keeps her head down and does her duty. This is what a true royal does. They don’t care about fame or wealth and do what is best for the people they serve.

The Crown Princess Mary And Princess Catherine Comparsion

People also love Britain’s Catherine, the Princess of Wales. She and Mary share the same ideals regarding their work in early years with children. They’ve often been compared because they are both Queens in Waiting.

Catherine came one step closer when the late Queen Elizabeth II died in early September 2022. For now, though, she is happy to be the Princess of Wales.

Princess Mary is going to be an amazing Queen as she understands the needs of the people. She doesn’t go around whinging when things are hard. Mary works through it and that is why she will be an incredible consort.
