Batwoman: Alice Tag Teams With The Bat Team

Alice

Alice has gone from a full-blown villain to being unsure of what she is. However, this season will see her kinda play both the hero and the… baddie? Okay, that sounds ominous, and it is. Furthermore, the point is Ryan, Mary, and Luke will have their hands full because this is one alliance they’re going into with their backs against the wall. Oh, and we’re going to finally meet Batwing.

They have a lot going on, as we reported last week with Mary’s rather bloody graduation. DC FanDome gave us insight from two of Batwoman’s leading ladies, Javicia Leslie and Rachel Skarsten. They are such awesome ladies who bounce off each other so well that you can’t help but love them. Anyway, they gave us a look at what to expect in the upcoming episode entitled “Sweet Tooth” and possibly beyond. Moreover, this episode will bring a new version of Killer Croc into the story, much like last week bought us another version of Mad Hatter.

We get a glimpse at Mary hating the idea of having to use the ‘C’ word – crazy. Also, we see just how annoyed the Bat Team gets with Alice around. Oh, we live for it! Anyway, it’s going to be jolly fun to see what happens next! We hope Mary finds closure since her dad is in prison and saw the light and Kate’s resurfacing in Season 2.

Camrus Becomes Batwing

Moving away from our girl Alice, Luke Fox actor Camrus Johnson gave some insight into how his portrayal is different to the comic version. He even provided how Luke is not the first version of Batwing to exist in the comics. David Zavimbe was the first black Batman as he was briefly known as Batman of Africa before he became Batwing.

What’s more, Cam was given the opportunity to write a Batwing story of his own for DC Comics which appears in Batman Urban Legends issue #4. He also mentioned that Russell Travaroff, the guy that shoots Luke in Season 2 of Batwoman was an ally to Luke in the comics.
