She’s not so snippy anymore – Ahsoka Tano went from being despised to one of the most beloved Star Wars characters.
From Anakin Skywalker’s snippy, little padawan to the rebel agent, Fulcrum, Ahsoka has grown so much as a character. It’s hard to believe people hated her upon her introduction in The Clone Wars film back in 2008. It was announced in 2020 that Snips would get her own television series. Entitled Ahsoka, the series is set during the same period as The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett.
With her two live-action appearances portrayed by Rosario Dawson. It is intriguing to what the show will entail. So, this post will contain potential spoilers for the series.
Plot Details For Ahsoka
We are currently unsure what the show’s plot is. Ahsoka’s live-action debut in The Mandalorian episode The Jedi might’ve given a clue.
During the episode, we glimpse at the possible story. It might have to do with Grand Admiral Thrawn. For those who haven’t watched Star Wars Rebels, the Chiss Grand Admiral disappeared years earlier with Ezra Bridger.
Moreover, the logo resembles the World between Worlds.
Cast And Crew
Rumoured Cast For Ahsoka
Rosario Dawson is the only confirmed cast. Rumours say that the following have joined the cast:
- Hayden Christensen is reprising his role as Anakin Skywalker (maybe Darth Vader – this is just a guess by us).
- Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren.
- Mary Elizabeth Winstead [Ewan Macgregor’s wife] in an unknown role – theories suggest she could be playing Hera Syndulla.
- Mena Massoud as Ezra Bridger. RUMOURED ONLY!
- Ray Stevenson in an unknown role.
- Ivanna Sakhno is in an unknown role.
Lars Mikkelsen reportedly could reprise his role as Grand Admiral Thrawn from Rebels. He may portray the live-action v. In Rebels, he provides the character’s voice. Fun fact: Lars’ brother, Mads Mikkelsen, played Galen Erso in Rogue One.
A report from The Direct claims that Lars will not be involved. Their source is a scooper so it’s unclear if their intel is accurate.
Confirmed Crew
Ahsoka creator Dave Filoni will be a writer on the series and serve as an executive producer.
Jon Favreau will also be an executive producer. Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy will executive produce also.
Rumoured Crew
Finally, Bryce Dallas Howard could be directing. This is implied in a recent Collider article. Please check the Ahsoka IMDb page to look at the potential cast and crew. Bryce’s involvement is just speculative until confirmed in the media.
