Zoë Kravitz Files For Divorce After 18 Months Of Marriage

Zoë

In what looks like to be the first celebrity divorce of 2021, Zoë Kravitz has filed for divorce from husband of 18 months, Karl Glusman…

About 18 months ago, we posted something about Paris really being the city of love. Now, one of the marriages we reported on is now on the road to divorce, according to People. Zoë Kravitz, the daughter of Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet has filed for divorce from Karl Glusman after 18 months of wedded bliss. This looks like it is the first celebrity breakup of 2021. It may not be but just bear with us for now.

It is not our place to speculate what happened and nor would we want to. Zoë and Karl were linked romantically as far back as October 2016 before they married in Lenny’s French home in June 2019. At the time, the wedding is believed to have been attended by both Zoë’s parents, half-siblings and stepdad, Jason Momoa. Zoë’s Big Little Lies co-stars, Laura Dern, Nicole Kidman, Shailene Woodley, and Reese Whiterspoon were in attendance also as per Elle.

(fun fact: Nicole Kidman almost became Zoë’s stepmother years ago when she was engaged to Lenny)

How Karl Glusman Proposed

Apparently, Glusman had planned to propose in Paris, but ended up doing so in their living room. This suited Kravitz just fine as she didn’t need a huge spectacle.

The engagement became public notice when a reporter noticed Zoë’s ring during an interview. At the time, she said no one knew and she wanted to keep it private for a while.

In past Instagram posts, Zoë paid tribute to her husband. She said he was her best friend and how much she loved him. While she did post about Karl, she did it sparingly to ensure his privacy by the looks of it.

We wish Zoë and Karl all the best whatever their lives entail next. No matter what happens next, we look forward to seeing it.
