Daredevil Is Now Officially In The MCU

Daredevil

Daredevil has finally been confirmed to be in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, according to Sean O’Donnell of CinemaBlend. Kevin Feige has revealed that Charlie Cox will return as the Man without Fear. We wrote a rumour piece last year regarding whether the blind lawyer would appear in the then-untitled Spider-Man: No Way Home. With the news now official, we can say that it was a no-brainer.

For almost two years, it’s been rumoured that Daredevil will appear in Spider-Man: No Way Home. This is evident by the upcoming film’s MCU Fandom page. We’ll see what happens when the movie drops in a week and a half.

The announcement of Daredevil officially being in the MCU now comes from speculation that Wilson Fisk/Kingpin will appear in Hawkeye with Vincent D’Onofrio allegedly reprising his role from Daredevil. This rumour comes from clues given in last week’s episode. Also, this extends from Kingpin’s association with Maya Lopez/Echo from Marvel comics. Fisk was her adoptive father and in charge of the Track Suit Mafia.

We’re still waiting for confirmation on the Kingpin thing, and hopefully, we’ll get an answer. First, we’d like to welcome Charlie Cox to the MCU. We cannot wait to see how Daredevil fits into the overall MCU. Will he join forces with the Avengers? Could he become acquainted with another superhero lawyer better known as Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk? Could he somehow join Yelena at some point? So many questions, so few answers!

Same Daredevil Or Not?

Anything is remotely possible. After all, the MCU is constantly growing, and we cannot wait to see what comes next. We do know the Marvel-Netflix Daredevil fans will be satisfied. Finally, will Charlie Cox be playing the same version? Hopefully, there will be an explanation, such as the multiverse However, Netflix owns the rights to Daredevil so it’s unlikely the MCU character is the same incarnation. It’s a waiting game.

Though, Matt’s associates could pop up in Echo.
