Characters Played By Josh Keaton In Young Justice

Josh Keaton, Young Justice

Josh Keaton is well known for voicing Spider-Man in animated Spider-Man projects for Marvel. But did you know he has also done voice work in the animated smash hit series Young Justice? Well, that is what we’ll be talking about in this post.

Keaton doesn’t have that many credits on Young Justice if his Young Justice Fandom profile page is anything to go off. However, the characters do have varying roles in the story, though they don’t have that much of an importance to the overall narration.

Young Justice Characters Played By Josh Keaton

Josh Keaton’s primary role in Young Justice is Black Spider, who has five speaking appearances across the entire show’s run. The character’s civilian name is Eric Needham, a member of the League of Shadows. The powers the character has in the show are not the same as the comic iteration.

The second character Josh Keaton plays is Red-Hooded Ninja. This was a character many people speculated was Jason Todd reincarnated, given he mentions Dick Grayson by name in his debut episode, Rescue Ops. However, it is not Jason. He speaks in two episodes and is a foot soldier for Sensei.

The final character that Josh Keaton plays is Wilhelm Vittings. This guy was a Markovian man who was unhappy about how many Quraci refugees now reside in Markovia. Zeno Robinson also played the role. The Spiderweb tattoo the character has is a nod to Keaton’s portrayal of Spider-Man. The character has two speaking roles in two episodes, one in Rescue Ops and the second as an impersonation (likely Zeno Robinson) in Ego and Superego.
