What Is Oprah’s Deal With The Way She Acts During Her Interview With Meghan And Harry?

Oprah

The Oprah Winfrey Oddness Factor…

Okay, so there’s something that has been bothering us regarding Oprah and her reactions to certain things in the interview she did with Harry and Meghan. The way she responded to Markle’s comment about how someone in the royal family questioned Archie’s skin tone makes us wonder if she is ignorant or she was genuinely shocked that such an inquiry would happen. After all, her ‘What?’ gained traction as its own meme/gif.

Oprah isn’t married and doesn’t have children, so she wouldn’t understand that the inquiry is very normal. Mixed-race couples ask this all the time when they’re having a child. If a woman is white and her partner is black or vice versa then it is a normal conversation. It appears Winfrey has forgotten that Meghan is mixed race and is not 100% black. It would’ve been something her own parents, Doria and Thomas would’ve spoken about before she was born.

Therefore, there is a reason we find it very hard to believe that there was anything racist about whatever was said. It is normal to be curious about the colour of a child’s skin tone. There was a story in the news a few years back where a set of twins were born to a mixed-race couple. One parent was black and the other was caucasian. One child was black and the other was white. As they grew up, people assumed they were best friends rather than siblings. They were constantly asked why they were always together and they had to keep telling people they were twins.

Moreover, Oprah is meant to be to a well-educated woman. She would have to be living underneath a rock to not know this. She knows a lot of people, some of who are in mix-race relationships or have mix-race kids.

Regarding Archie

There was more chance that Archie was going to have white skin rather than black. What’s more, is that his mother is half-white while his father is 100% white. There was a small chance that he would turn out to have darker skin given Meghan’s maternal family. Therefore, the same applies to his little sister but we don’t actually know what colour her skin is because no photos have been released. It shouldn’t matter anyway. The royal family isn’t racist.

Meghan is feeding this narrative to Oprah and her lackeys knowing they’ll buy into it. Furthermore, she knows her fans are gullible enough to believe her without fact-checking anything. These are the same people who don’t trust the media.

Archie and baby Lili are simply innocent pawns in this whole mess. They cannot control what their parents do. Whatever vendetta Harry and Meghan have is meaningless as they are throwing tantrums, like the one about the Queen telling them they cannot use Sussex Royal if they stepped down.

Whatever the case with Oprah, it needs to be seen that she has no right to dictate or react to something that she knows nothing about.

Other Examples Of Oprah And Her Over The Top Antics

Okay, so Oprah has a habit of making a big deal of something when it’s actually not. One big example of this was when her talk show was still running and she announced in an over-the-top way that they were going to Australia in 2010. At the time, it didn’t seem like that big of a deal. But, after seeing her interview with Harry and Meghan, it appeared to us that there was a big pattern going on. Here’s the clip of the Australia announcement:

The entire audience is seen screaming with total joy. Oprah made the whole thing sound like Australia was a newly discovered place that had recently hit her radar. Furthermore, all the people who were there when the announcement was made lapped it all up like it was the biggest deal in the world. Hadn’t any of them ever heard of Australia before? Didn’t they know that Tom Cruise (who we’ll get to in a moment) was married to Nicole Kidman who happens to be Australian and had been in Hollywood for decades?

Another example comes when Tom Cruise announced he was in love with now-former wife Katie Holmes where he jumped on Oprah’s couch.

What sane person allows someone else to jump on their couch when they’re the guest? Oprah enabled this because she didn’t believe it was rude. Yes, Cruise was expressing his feelings but jumping up and down like an excited child when he was a middle-aged man in 2005 is not the answer. She just enabled this to happen without stopping him. Talk about unprofessional behaviour. You would never see Drew Barrymore or Kelly Clarkson allowing their guests to do this on their talk shows.
