Help us, Obi-Wan Kenobi – As the Obi-Wan Kenobi series comes closer, we begin thinking about which of his old allies and enemies could be mentioned in the show. There is a long list of characters we’d like to be referenced at least once. It doesn’t need to be a flashy mention; it can be anything. Heck, it doesn’t need to be spoken.
We thought we’d put together a small list of potential mentions that might happen. Note that these are broken up into old allies and enemies.
Old Allies
Named Clones
The most obvious on this list of old allies are clone troopers Obi-Wan worked with during the Clone Wars. Two that spring to mind are Captain Rex and Commander Cody. The two were close to their respective Jedi Generals. In addition, Rex had a close friendship with Anakin, though he respected Kenobi too.
Cody served under Obi-Wan without hesitation and is more likely than Rex to appear.
Ahsoka Tano
There might be a moment where Obi-Wan reflects on all the negative things during his Jedi days. One of these reflections would be him not vocalising his support for Ahsoka when Barriss framed her for terrorism.
Obi-Wan might think about how he could’ve protected her from the heartache she suffered.
Padmé Amidala
We’ve spoken about this before, but there is a chance Padmé might get a mention. Not only were she and Obi-Wan friends, but she was also Luke (and Leia)’s mother.
Other Jedi
Regardless of Obi-Wan’s feelings towards the Jedi, he may mention some of the ones he appreciated.
Enemies (And Frenemies)
- Count Dooku
- Emperor Palpatine
- The Separatists
- Hondo Ohnaka (really a frenemy)
- Maul
- The Shadow Collective
- Battle Droids of all descriptions
- Boba Fett
- Asajj Ventress (a frenemy at the end as she came to hate Dooku)
- Savage Oppress
